Founder Journey
Kids4Act.org was founded by Sherman Brooks following years of firsthand experience navigating youth development and creative training environments as a parent and advocate.
This journey did not begin as an organization, but as a personal path shaped by learning, observation, and lived experience. Through years of engagement with training programs, educational environments, and creative development spaces, Mr. Brooks gained insight into the challenges families often face—including limited access to clear guidance, inconsistent standards, and a lack of transparency.
These experiences underscored the importance of preparation, ethical program design, and age-appropriate learning opportunities for young people.
The creation of Kids4Act represents a commitment to applying those lessons responsibly—building an organization grounded in clarity, integrity, and long-term planning rather than immediate expansion.

A Personal Journey, Not Organizational Programming.
The experiences shared on this page reflect the Founder’s personal journey and lived experience prior to the launch of Kids4Act.org.
Kids4Act did not operate formal programs during this period. These experiences are shared solely to provide context, transparency, and insight into the values that inform the organization’s mission today.
Why This Matters
Understanding the lived experiences behind Kids4Act helps explain why the organization prioritizes:
• Clear communication with families
• Ethical standards in youth development
• Responsible program planning
• Transparency before implementation
These principles continue to guide Kids4Act as it develops its internal systems and prepares for future programming.
The creation of Kids4Act represents a commitment to applying those lessons responsibly—building an organization grounded in clarity, integrity, and long-term planning rather than immediate expansion.
